import from cd

I seem to remember having this problem at some point. But not for some time.
From memory in this case, I tracked it back to disc damage…

Have you tested it from a different cd?

Or perhaps copy the track to your drive first to see if its bringing it in directly
off the disc that your set up is having the problems with.

Thanks Paul, I did try several CD’s but hadn’t tried copying to the desktop.
This way it imports in a flash, so thanks. Still not sure why it won’t work directly though.
