Import fcp file into catdv catalog

I have experienced an interesting little thing. If I take a folder without opening it and dragging it into catdv – files that it does call unknown will not appear in the catdv catalog. So for instance a fcp project file which is an unkown format in the catdv world will not appear.
But if I open the folder and choose all and then dragging the same files into catdv – the fcp project file will appear in the catdv catalog – still as a unknown format – but it will appear.
Any reason for that?Kind regards

Check your import settings.
“Recursively include non-media files” is what you are looking for.
