  Import additional clips with loose filename match

  Hi!
  I conformed an 60sec Edit using an XML, and then I received xml for a 30s edit from the client. The 30s edit used almost all the same clips from the 60 edit, except for one take, that was new.
  I conformed the 30s edit using the graded media I already had on the project, but the new take was missing. what I tried to do was import the missing take using the command “Import additional clips with loose filename match”. Resolve asked me to select the folder where the original clip was stored, but when I selected it, resolve gave back a warning claiming it did not find the clip. But it was on the select folder, for sure, and if I import it to the media pool, Resolve automatically “sees”it, so name and tc are correct too.
  Anybody has any idea why this doesn’t work? I don’t want to have to duplicate all my media everytime I conform a new edl and I don’t want to have to import the missing clips by hand, everytime..
  ps – I tried both the “loose”and “tight” filename match

  Any help would be REALLY trully appreciated.. thanks 🙂
