    I have a .3ds file i got from a free site…when i try sand open it in C4D I keep getting an error that it cant open in the image viewer…i am very novice at C4D am I missing something here?

    1.Open C4D
    2. File: Merge
    3. Select 3ds file.

    I’ve recently run into this same issue and found this post on the CCow forums.

    What you mentioned does not work for me.

    I put the 3DS Exchange plugins in the plugin folder. (root level of that folder)

    Is there something else I need to do?
