import 10 bit Tiff sequence
Posted by Anhtu Vu on April 9, 2013 at 7:29 pmI believe Tiff is either 8 or 16 bit. Is it possible to import 10 bit Tiff sequence in AE ??? If so, how, as the normal import method keeps giving me errors. Thx

April 10, 2013 at 3:00 amit says file format unsupported. These files came from a DCP export using Fraunhofer’s EasyDCP player +.
I do DCP export all the time for broadcast but have always used DPX sequence instead of TIFF. My workflow is:
1- Open DCP in EasyDCP +
2- Export as DPX in 10 or 16 bit with xyz to RGB color space transform
3- Import DPX sequence in AE for downrez to HD
4- Import 5.1 surround in ProTools to make an LtRt
5- Layback all 8 tracks of audio back to the HD file.Anyways, after further research i believe 10 bit TIFF sequence is not supported in AE or PP CS6
