    Hi,

    Has anyone had experience in being asked to move an edit from iMovie to fcp. The footage is HDV.

    Thanks in advance for any information or insight.

    Never tried to do it, but on Apple’s website they make this claim:

    iMovie HD and Final Cut Express
    Edit projects and media from iMovie HD and Final Cut Express HD with Final Cut Pro 5. With support for the Apple Intermediate Codec, Final Cut Pro can import and work with media and projects from the most recent versions of iMovie HD and Final Cut Express HD.

    So it looks like it should work, provided you have used the most recent version of iMovie.
