Images Won’t Open
This is a small problem and probably pretty easy to fix. I just can’t get files to open into photoshop unless i actually go to the file>open dialog in photoshop. Double clicking a file from the desktop or file>open from the desktop just won’t do it. It is a small problem but if i calculated all the time i have wasted over the past years…
What can i do? -

If you’re on a PC, right-click and select “Open with…” rather than double-clicking. Then select Photoshop from the list of apps. You could also do the same thing and tick the “Always open with this app” box in the “Open with…” window. But Photoshop isn’t exactly the quickest viewer when all you want to do is look at a picture.
On Mac, I’m sure there’s a way to set the default program to open your file. (Or is there, maybe, a contextual menu with a right-click / ctrl+click?)
