I’m trying to move my image in InDesign pixel-by-pixel by using my cursor keys on my keyboard. For some reason it doesn’t move pixel-by-pixel. When I press the cursor button one way, I have to press it about 5 times before it even moves, but when it does it jumps quite a ways a way.

I can’t figure out what setting has been changed and it’s driving me crazy. Does anybody have any questions?

Thanks in advance for your help. 🙂

    Hi Christopher,

There are settings in your Preferences where you can choose what unit of measurement you wish to work in. The default unit option in InDesign is picas, not pixels.

To alter this, go to InDesign / Preferences / Units and Increments
From here you can alter your Ruler settings.

    Good Luck

    Thea
