Images not keeping aspect ratio when rendering
Hi,
Happy Friday! I have perhaps a very silly question but would truly appreciate and advice and guidence.
I’m currently working on a marketing piece for my office that involves HD video, filmed originally in an mpeg format 1080p. The piece includes interview footage, b-roll, and still images. When I bring the stills into Sony Vegas Pro 10 I’ve opened the pan/crop window, right clicked, and matched the output aspect ratio. When I’m previewing the video in Sony it looks as though the image is matching the aspect ratio of the video.
Then when I go to render the final product I see a thin bar of video on the top and bottom of the image. I’m unsure why that occurs though? Any ideas on how to have the image cover the screen would be great! 🙂 I need to render the file so that it will can be uploaded to a vimeo site. (It did work in mpeg 2 but the audio disapears)
Thanks so much for any advice you can provide. I’m certainly nstill a newbie at using vegas and although passionate about video editing I have quite a bit to learn 🙂
Have a great weekend!
Kira
