    Hi there,

    I’m using a Kona 2 (driver 3.4) in a G5 dual 2gHz, OS 10,4,11. Whenever I pause in FCP,
the image goes darker on both my CRT (component) and my LCD (HD-SDI to AJA HDP to
ACD 23″). This happens whether I’m in SD or HD. How can I correct this?

    Thanks.

    What codec?

It seems to be independent of the codec. Right now I’m in DVCPro-HD,
but it does the same in SD 8 or 10 bit uncompressed. Is this normal?
Could it be the analog output format setting (Component SMPTE?EBU N10)?

No, it shouldn’t be. Try turning off your range check (control-z).
