    Hi

I have 2 short questions I need help with please.

1.Firstly my background image width on a static image is
    780 pixels.
What should the corresponding width be to avoid the black bands I keep getting.
If i set 600 width, it looks ok, but renders with black bands.

    2. Where can i edit or adjust the contrast of a movie clip imported into the timeline

    thanks
    arthur

1: What is your output? DVD? Blueray? PC file? etc

2: Contrast can be adjusted with a combination of the sony levelks fx and the sony colorcurves fx.

There’s also a Brightness and Contrasts effect.
Your picture is not 4 x 3 or 16 x 9 aspect ratio. You can click on the event pan/crop and select 4 : 3 or 16 : 9 to crop it to fit, DV is 4 :3 and HDV is 16 : 9. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
