    Hi Leo,

Tomorrow afternoon I am back behind my MacPro with Motion 5 again and than I will check if they work. I know for sure that “Affine Transform” works, because I’ve used that one. I need a new MacBook Pro because the 2006 model is not compatible with M5 and FCPX so I can’t check for you right now.

    Cheers,
    Robbert-Jan

    Thanks, Robert.

From the list on the screenshot the only two doesn’t work are “Temperature and Tint” and “Tone Curve” which I marked with the white arrows.

Didn’t tried all of Image Units but those in “Color Adjustment” section.

    Again, thanks for taking helping

I’m running Motion 5 / Lion and I have these Image units installed on my machine at home.

At work running Motion 4 / Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and those image units aren’t in there.

They have to be Lion core image units I’m thinking.

    Cheers,

    BG

    Brendan,
May I ask you to try if they work properly?
In my case, Temperature and Tint doesn’t do anything and Tone Curve turns white the image and nothing change with parameters.
    Thanks!

    Hi Leo,

I just checked on my MacPro where I’m running Motion 5.
I do not have the image units Tone Curve, Tint and Temperature in my collection of image units.

Haven’t had a chance to check these yet, as on Motion 4 at work…But I also have FXfactory installed like yourself….but that’s weird as like the email you received from them already ruled them out as being part of their package.

Do you have FXfactory installed Robbert?

    Cheers,

    Brendan

    Hi Brendan,

On my MacBook Pro with Motion 4 I have FX Factory installed but with only some freebies as Fx and some trial versions. On this system no temperature, tint and tone curve.
On my MacPro no FX Factory and also no temperature, tint and tone curve.

Just tried them and got the same result as you did leo.

Temperature and tint nothing, and Tone curve all white.

Though reading the description for temperature and tint it says…

“Adapt the white reference point for an image”

Perhaps this works in conjunction with other image units, unsure really.

Though the fact that not everyone has them suggest it’s not designed to work with Motion.

Someone will have an answer I’m sure.

    Cheers,

    BG
