Image stabilization…confused
Hi –
I have rarely had need to use this effect in FCP, but now
I do…and I am scratching my head. I can’t seem to get it
to do anything by make matters worse!In other, similar systems that I’ve used, there is usually a
provision to enlarge the frame, so that the full raster remains
filled wtih image after the stabilizing has occurred, but I see
no such function here.Any help on this, or if you know of a tutorial, would be greatly
appreciated..Thanks

Forget the built-in (so-called) stabilizer.
For $59 get a GREAT one.
Its called “iStabilize”

Thanks for the great reply. I checked out the options and ended up
using AE, only because it’s sitting right here next to me!I’m honestly not sure what the point of the built-in stablize effect
