Image shrinks vertically when I hit play.
Hello,
When I park my playhead I am viewing a crisp clean wonderful image. When I hit the playhead the image plays and looks good, but a little blurred from the quality of the still (I’m assuming just a motion vs still thing that the eye is doing) but when I again stop the playhead the image first stops than vertically gets larger by a few scan lines.
My monitor is a Sony PVM-20M4U HR Broadcast monitor that has always been rock solid. I’m coming out my Kona 2 card component into the monitor and Beta Deck.
Any clues to this may lead me to a solution to my font problems I have been experiencing but it is also a bit frustrating overall knowing the hieght of my picture is changing.

Solutions have been found. On a hunch I called AJA. They suggested I download and replace the drivers and firmware. We then went in and made sure all was well with the control panel and wallah. No picture shrinking. It even cleared up the font and graphics problems I was having.
Salvation at last.
