image sequences out of order on import
Hi
I want to import 1800 images. They are in sequence in the folder on hard drive but when I import into AE 6.5 on a mac they are out of sequence… for eg 1029 is then followed by 103
Can I fix this in AE on import?

Sounds like a file naming issue…how PC works (I don’t know about MAC) is:
0001 comes before 01
I’ve found that if my highest numbered file is a 5 digit filename, I need to start with 00001.
The way to *fix* this is to use a utility…I downloaded and used this freeware for my PC…I don’t know if it will work on a MAC.

It will allow you to *insert* characters into a file name.
