January 26, 2007 at 4:33 pmThey’re both going the DA>AD route then, my money is on that. You could capture PS3 digitally to standard HD-SDI hardware through a Doremi XDVI-20s or similar DVI>SDI convertor, which’d avoid the signal conversions. If you’re just going outputting web content though I doubt it’d justify the price tag, your 1080i solution looks good for that.
I’ll try a component capture fom PS3 when I get chance and post some links, I’d be interested to see the results.
