I’m currently using Photoshop CS3 and Windows Vista. I remember in an earlier version I used to be able to see image previews of PSD files in windows explorer. I don’t get those anymore and I have “always save” option turned on in the image previews section of the file handling preferences dialog. Is there another setting I need to turn on somewhere in order to see previews of PSD files in windows explorer? Thanks in advance.

I looked for the preview plug-in about a year and a half ago, since it did work at one time. I think the plug-in was installed when you installed PS…
What I vaguely remember was that it was buggy (although I didn’t encounter anything) and support was dropped. Try looking again. I do know that Win7 has a better interface for these type of previews and Adobe (or is it Canon?) offers one for the RAW files.
