  • Image Pan in Premiere 2.0

I used “image pan” under Video Effects/Transform in Premiere 6.5 quite frequently. I recently upgraded to Premiere Pro 2.0, but “image pan” isn’t available anymore. Does anyone know where it was renamed/moved to? or is there an equivilent method that is as quick as “image pan”?

    Thanks in advance,
    Rudy

Its called “Motion Controls” now, after the image is on the timeline click on the image and select the Video Effectts tab thats with the Source monitor and Audio Mixer tabs above the timeline, you will see the Motion Control effect. For further info use the Premiere help under M

One problem with Premiere was that you could not use motion for image panning. In Premiere Pro that was fixed so keyframing Position and Scale in the Motion Effect works great. Just don’t use the option to automatically scale the image.
