I have imported images that are on a white background and for some reason when I import them in they are showing up all white. You can make out the outline of the object but for some reason the object is all white. The imported item is an srgb .tiff. I thought that the problem would go away when I exported the movie, but it still shows up as almost embossed looking when I open the exported project. I changed the item properties to a black background and now it just looks like the white object has been replaced by a black cutout of the object. Does any one have any clue as to what I have turned on and how I turn it off?

I think it might be an unsupported colour space in Motion. Did the files originate from a windows machine? Have you tried opening up the files in Photoshop or something like Graphic Converter?
