Image mask & how it affects Blend Modes
Got a couple layers in Multiply blend mode, grouped. When I add an image mask to that group, or it’s parent group, the multiply layers blending changes. The mode stays multiply, but the resulting composite is different.
I’ve mucked about with the image mask options without success.
Ideas?

For those reading; the solution is to simply apply any mask directly to the layer, not a group.
I’m sure there’s a good reason, but it eludes me. So I stopped hitting my head against the wall. 😉
