image flutters as it animates horizontally
I am animating an image of a model from left to right. when i render it in quicktime the edges of the image flutter like crazy. i tried using motion blur. but that blurs the image too much. any proven technique to over come this?

if you turn off m.blur & set the render output to interlaced, you’ll get very smooth movement.. (maybe too smooth? Tends to look like a dve move, in a way..)

Interlaced motion from left to right can look really mechanical, but sometimes you just have to go with it if you have the problem you mentioned.
