    I have two sample photos that I would like help on identifying techinique(s) to achieve stunning details.

    Here is the second:

    Is this HDR? Are special filters being used?

    Any assistance woul be greatly appreciated.

    Tripod
    Long Exposures
    Small Aperture
    Light HDR

    Thanks for the quick response. Enjoy your books. Currently using tripod and remote shutter with all images on Nikon 7000. I suspected mild HDR from exterior clarity. Can you recommend length of long exposure? Guessing Aperture at 11. Thanks again.

    It’s not a recipe. Completely depends on lighting in scene, time of day, etc.

    Read Bryan Peterson’s book on exposure
