Image distortions with Colour Correction
So heres the deal. First the Specs
Premiere Pro CC
this computer is basically a stock late model 2012 Imac fully updated with the latest OS and Mavericks updateEvery time I add an effect layer to my footage, it causes banding and pixelated noise as well as a green tinge. This happens even with no adjustments made to the effects. Primarily the effects I use are RGB Curves and the Three way Colour Correction. I suspect it is due to a sub par graphics card, I forget exactly the card type but it only has 512 gb of ram (more or less) and this doesn’t allow for the GPU acceleration. but we have also been experiencing phantom burn spots in premiere only, they do not move with the window like a screen burn but they don’t show up on any other program, as well they come and go and look different everytime, so this makes me question if the problem is premiere. To add to this we have been having weird glitches on several machines on the past few updates of Premiere, one guy even had to downgrade to previous versions of Premiere.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the programs, spoke with adobe and apple, noone seems to have an answer that tells me what the problem is.
Tomorrow is full on wiping and reinstalling the OS and every program so any tips would be greatly appreciated
