iMac or MacBook Air? Much speed difference?
I’m not concerned about acquiring another monitor (I’ve three now), so the iMac choice is mostly a matter of being able to toss it in my car and spend my summer in another town.
Since my MacBookPro was stolen a few weeks back, I’m wondering if I really need one – but I do need something to work with on those weekends (or weeks!). Is there a lot of difference between a high end iMac and a MacBook Air (for video editing)?

Yes. iMacs have higher end CPUs and graphics cards, thing premiere pro craves. But an Air should work in a pinch. Just not at the same level an iMac will
