    Hi,

If you need a portable and have access to AC this looks good:
    https://luggerbags.com/G5.htm

The same iLugger fits both 17″ and 20″ iMacs!

OK, we all wanted a G5 Powerbook… but it doesn’t look like they are going to make one this year…. so make your G5 iMac portable! After all, its only 2 inches thick, weighs 18 lbs & has a dazzling display nicer than any notebook!

We’ve designed airships & balloons on Macs since 1984 and wanted G5 processing power that we could take from home to office to boardroom presentations. The G5 iMac filled the bill in every way except we could not find a case that it would fit in anywhere. So we designed & built this bag & we love it!

Now we’re making them available for all you power users who want a little portability. It’s constructed at our airship manufacturing facility in Middle Tennessee using the same quality materials, equipment, & detail used to construct our balloons and blimps. This custom made, quality bag is easy to pack, well-protected, and airline carry-on size! One size bag fits EITHER 17″ or 20″ iMac.

    Best Wishes,

    Mitch

The people who run this site may regard this as spam. I suggest you submit this item here:

    https://www.macobserver.com/contact.shtml

Scroll down to “Press Releases” and submit it there. That page would also consider a post like this spam, but if you sumit it properly they’ll likely post it as a story.

It looks like a great product, try submitting it to that page and you’ll probably get a better response than you will here!

What about a luggie bag for the mini mac. If you could make a bag sort of like a sandwich sealable bag I could slip my mini mac into my lunch box for on the go work.

    Thx,

    Tony

    Yes, blatant advertisement.

But, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for and I’m glad I found it.

    Hi,

I have no commercial interest in this product.

I posted it here because in the past there have been questions about using G5 iMac’s for portable editing and I thought some people would be interested.

    Best Wishes,

    Mitch
