    Hello,

OK. Here’s the deal. I always master my audio track in a DIFFERENT program, such as Apple Soundtrack Pro etc. The durations never change. What is the easiest and fastest way to replace the original audio track inside a .MOV file with the new one?

Is replacing the original audio inside the AP timeline then exporting the only way? This takes forever. Because I can’t seem to use 2 files (Audio and Video) as a SOURCE so I can edit to the timeline! uugggh!!! I’m so frustrated with this. What am I doing wrong?

    do one at a time….

Edit the original video to the timeline…

then lay the audio on the timeline

    export…

Surely this is not the only way?

How does Adobe Premiere expect to compete with AVID and Final Cut if this is true? Both those programs will sync to time code and merge the files.

This is a MAJOR shortcoming if the above method is the only method for syncing audio and video.
