Hey everyone. I wish I was better at After Effects otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this but anyway. So I’m stuck with something that IS straightforward, but not for me as I’m not really good at after effects. I’m doing a mock for BBC Regional News. I want to move the place names but I can’t. just left to right & up and down. I’ve parented it to a null. Made it 3D. Rotate the Y Axis, but they’re not moving. I’m not a quitter, but I would really really appreciate if somebody on here would tell me what I’m doing wrong. And if they can give me instructions

I just want to accomplish this. And it’s making me really really upset

    Thank you 🙏🙏🙏😢🙏🙏😢

Dylan, can you post an AEP project file so we can see what you’re doing and where you’re stuck?

We don’t need footage, and we don’t even necessarily need the entire project. First, do a SAVE AS so you don’t overwrite your original project. (And you should ALWAYS back up your project files, just in case!)

Then, select the comp with your text setup in the project panel, then use File > Dependencies > Reduce Project. This will eliminate everything except the comp(s) you selected, and any assets/precomps it requires. Save a copy of this reduced AEP and post it here.

    Dylan,

With all due respect, why are you opening a new thread on this?

How many months have you spent on this project?

Including previously asking for a copy of the original BBC project.

Hate to say it, but you need to dive into learning After Effects, or pay someone to do the job for you, rather than asking for free “Silver Service”.

With all good intentions on my part.
    Mads
