I’m making a video with a “Nightmare/horror” theme– are there any effects, etc., you guys would recommend?

I think it depends on what kind of theme you are going for. Creepy and unnerving, but it also depends on what situation is occurring.

Well for ANY expression to have use it does need to trigger all those Flight n Fight us Humans are prone to. Yah see yer average Martian just doesn’t get the Banana Slip-Up visual joke. He just looks at it and thinks: “Hmm, what’s wrong with YELLOW? I quite like YELLOW! – These Humans do NOT have a sense of humour at all?! Now if it was PINK or tangerine – well.. That would be a real rib tickler!” See where I’m going with this? Stuff that HAS been done before is appealing to our own Evolution, to ignore that innate behavioural response would be counter productive. Maybe . .

Right, I get what you’re saying. What I meant by what I said was that I was trying to make something beyond a simple sports video that most people make. Speaking of which…
