    Hello!
I’m trying to author a DVD in DVD Studio Pro. I edited the HD footage in Final Cut Pro 7 and exported it in Apple Pro Res 422 codec. The segment was 1 hour long (a wedding) and 56.63 GB. I also tried to add a track for the highlight and the file is 7.11 GB and under 7 minutes long. I know it’s a big file size, but my boss said she did it before. I watched a few tutorials and set the bitrate low -3.5 Mbps and I set the max bit rate at 5 mbps. I try to burn the DVD and a window pops up saying ‘Formatting Failed’ ‘Formatting was not successful. Not enough space on output media.’ And other times it has said ‘The recording device reported the media error: unknown device error.
I would put a few screen shot here, but it doesn’t allow it.
Thank you for your time, have a great week! :¬)
