I’m getting a monopod. Any recs?
So, I was filming with a buddy in a crowd today, and I envied his monopod. It made him so much more mobile than me with a tripod. I’d like to spring for one and i wonder if anyone has any recs for a monopod for a HMC150.
Also, would you recommend a Halo Rig if I get a monopod?

None in particular, but for a long time Band-Pro sold a monopod with a fold-out foot plate. You flip this down with your toe like a bicycle kick-stand, and step on the plate with one foot. Your body weight now lovks the monopod in place almost as good as a tripod, yet, you just take your foot off the plate, and you can move.
I think that kind of fold-out foot plate is also available separately to put on any monopod you own, but I can’t find the site with the illustration any more.
