I’m annoyed about FCPX and I want to vent
Posted by Steve Connor on August 18, 2011 at 7:24 pmNot me personally, but perhaps some people would like to use this thread to reiterate their dislike of FCPX, rather than jumping on to others peoples positive threads about their experience with the software.
Just a thought:)

“Its not really venting, Steve, as much as talking honestly about something. Is it “venting” in your mind, by the way, when someone forcefully jumps on someone for pointing out flaws? If so, I guess you start a thread called “Happy Things about FCP X.”

August 18, 2011 at 7:53 pmFrom Dictionary.com, definition of venting as a verb:
to give free play or expression to (an emotion, passion, etc.): to vent rage.
to give public utterance to: to vent one’s opinions.
This forum has seen it’s fair share of venting over the last few weeks. I’m not saying it’s wrong, I fully understand peoples anger and disappointment and of course this is the right place to discuss it.
As for jumping on to people for pointing out flaws, exactly the opposite is also true, people who are trying to post about their positive experiences are being jumped on, just look at the post below.

I should say my experience is somewhat opposite of your opposite.

August 18, 2011 at 9:04 pmSteve, can we get this thread to work like one of those Roach Motels?

August 18, 2011 at 9:17 pmI wish Jack Rebney would do a venting video on his thoughts on FCPx:

August 19, 2011 at 1:11 amI apologize if it offends.
Others have done FCPX dis videos quite deliberately and entertaining. They’ve been posted here. I think you could do one as well rather than seeing 2nd hand analogies. Even though I think FCPX holds promise I can certainly enjoy someone’s ridicule of FCPX. I hold no animus with such expression. You’ve been demonstrative which is why you came to mind.
