  Illy CS6 Paths question

  I know this seems like an elementary question, but I’m not having any luck accomplishing my task. So if I have a circle and I want to add a line from the center of the circle and have it intersect with the circle, how do I do it? I’ve tried everything I can think of and it won’t make a complete path. I’m wanting it to combine so when I send it to the CNC it will start at the point in the middle of the circle and then travel along the straight line and complete the circle. I can not for the life of me get it to work. Please help!!!
