    Hi

    New to Illustrator 9.0 ..
In Illustrator I save my work as a ai. file but when i OPEN it into zaxwerks is says there were no usable vector paths in this file.
I use the pencil tool to draw it, thats a vector pic right?

How do I save with a transparent back round?

if anyone can help, thank you

we always say do a search first, but when you are saving make sure that you uncheck compression setting. that should do it

What really did it for me and gave me a jump start was finding illustrator files from sample tutorials, etc – actually, I got a boatload of them. There is a smiley face in here somewhere along with an MTV logo as well as an Adobe logo. Regardless, when I brought them in, Invigorator started to do all sorts of things and I reverse-learned the process.
