  illustrator to photoshop – retain transparency?

  hi guys,
  i’ve found some stuff relating pulling a pshop layer into illustrator with transparency but my question is the opposite.
  I have a heap of lines I’ve done in illustrator. I want to save out the image I’ve created in illustrator and pull it into pshop but keep the transparency.
  At present if I export the image from illustrator it pulls it into pshop with a white background and has flattened the lines onto that bg.

  can anyone help me out here?
