Illustrator to AE
Can you import Illustrator strokes into AE,and if so, how?? Just curious.

you can import illustrator artwork in to ae thru standard import methods and use the ‘continuously rasterize’ switch to keep the edges smooth…
but if you need the actual path data from the illustrator vectors you will need to select and copy them from illustrator and paste them onto a layer in after effects… i do often wish that ae had an ‘import as vector data’ option in the import window, but copy and paste isn’t so bad, unless you don’t have illustrator on your machine…
