    Hey All,
I am having some trouble placing some text on a circle path. I want to have the text move counter-clockwise starting at the bottom of the circle (6 o’clock). Also I would like to have the bottom of the text to be aligned along the inside of the circle. Yet getting the text to move counter-clockwise and have it align properly has been troublesome. The only solution I can think of is to invdividually place the letters along the path and rotate accordingly, yet doing this by hand doesn’t seem very efficent. Any ideas?

Switch to your direct select tool, and grab the i-beam for the text.
Pull the I-Beam towards the inside of the circle and you may need to adjust the other 2 I-Beasm for the start and end of your text on a path.

Now you should have the correct rotation and positon of type, but you may desire for the type to ride across the outer edge of the circle. This is best fixed by chnging your baseline shift ot the point size of the type.
