    Hi all

This feels like it should be an easy thing but my brain just can’t get there.

I’ve created a storyboard in Illustrator of a character swinging. In each stage of the movement I have changed the shape of the head, as if it is turning with the swing. I’m trying to figure out a good way of making these angles of the head seamless when importing in to After Effects and animating the swing.

At first I thought using the Path to morph the shape would be a good way but the Illustrator shapes have a lot of detail and texture “drawn inside” them, so with that there is a load more path options which aren’t greatly manageable.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Thank you

Aside from going frame by frame, Illustrator vectors can be quite cumbersome with any morph option.

This is Eran Stern’s explanation of how to morph – as Eric said, it’s quite cumbersome but should be possible.
