illustrator path to Trapcode 3D Stroke
Hi all,
im just trying out the trapcode plugin 3D Stroke.I have drawn a path in illustrator and want to import this path to after effects so I can use it with 3D stroke,
but the problem is I cant import the path, tried the basic methods of copy and paste but obviously that doesnt work 🙁any help would be great as I just need to import this path into AE as I dont want to draw the path again in AE!!
again any help would be a life saver as im a little lost

you can copy a path from Illustrator and paste it as a mask on a layer in the After Effects timeline. Typically a solid layer is used if you only want the path.
Once the path is pasted in 3D Stroke will see it.
