Illustrator path tip
I often get requests from people to add a feature to allow pIllusion to load Illustrator paths either for use as emitter motion paths, or to define the line emitter (or to allow particles to follow this path, but that’s another issue).
Well, I just read about a trick that you can do with After Effects (if you have it) that allows you to use an Illustrator path as an emitter position path. I believe the steps are essentially:
1. Copy the path from Illustrator
2. Paste directly to position data in After Effects (spatial data)
3. Copy position data keys
4. Import position data via clipboard in pIllusionI hope I didn’t miss anything there.
