I converted an Illustrator project to v8 to allow me to import (file/merge object) in C4D
There are over 30 individual paths in the project. The project logo has a number of different colours in it so I would have to colour some of the paths separately. My problem is that I want to add an Extrude Nurbs to extrude the text and logo but the only way I can do that is by connecting all the individual paths (using the connect path option) when I do that though the path becomes one and then I can’t colour the lettering and logo separately. How do I get around this?

You will need to use several extrude nurbs. Extrude each part of your logo seperately. Then, not only can you color them seperately, but you can animate them seperately as well.
