Ok i am gonna try to explain what i am trying to do, then i am going to explain how what i am trying is turning out. I have a pdf of a building face that i have brought into Illustrator. I have trace the main outside line of the building. I then created a grid with the grid tool that covers the complete building. (The way i did that was created a small grid and duplicated it multiple times all over the buidling, if tere is a better way of doing this i am open for suggestions. What i am then doing is bring that drawing into Cinema 4d. I want to extrude the drawing where i can animate each individual block in the drawing. I have brought it in and created a an extrude Nurbs, but Cinema 4d begins to run terribly slow. Any suggestions are appreciated, from preparing the drawing in Illustrator to bringing it into Cinema 4D. THanx

    Greatly Appreciated

this is the workflow i am using, but cinema 4d is still running extremely slow. Is the way i should be creating my slicing in illustrator and then importing into cinema 4d in order to get the effect i am after. i am going to animate alternating blocks sliding in and out of the structure.

    Greatly Appreciated
