    Illustrator CS4 Action Script

    Is there a way to write an action script in Illustrator CS4 to export
    a batch of files as a .pdf,.eps, .jpg, .png at one time?

    Yes. You can use AppleScript, JavaScript, or VB script (I believe). Just look up the scripting API documentation that came with AI. Note, these are not actions! These are scripts, so you have to write some code.
