    Hello

I have the following problem in Illustrator CS2:

I have text which I want to transform. With the 3d effect I achieve the desired results. BUT, I need to have only Spot Colors and the 3d effect changes the Spot Color Text into CMYK text, and its now useless to me, unless I delete the effect again.

So my question is, how can I make a perspective transformation with my text, without losing my Spot Colors?

    Thanks a lot

Could you Expand (Object/Expand) the object than reapply your colors?

    Hi,
after you create the 3d object, go to the Menue bar and choose , that’ll break your object in selectable pieces, that you can colorize with your desired spot color. Hope that helps.
