  Illustrator CS2: Image resolution

  Created an Illustrator document using images created in Photoshop that were 300dpi. Once the document was saved in Illustrator it showed up on Adobe Bridge as being 72dpi. I checked the Flatenner preview and it showed high res. How do I get the whole Illustrator document to 300dpi?
