Illustrator Cropped Compostion Problem
When I insert an illustrator file with multiple layers as a cropped compostion and insert them into a compostion they postition themselves centrally with no regard to how they were positioned in the original illustrator file. This means the image i get is just a mess of overlapping layers. I want each layer to be cropped around its dimensions yet remain in the positions i arranged in the original illustrator file, is there any way to do this?

Can only suggest you review the instructions one more time. It’s confusing but it works superbly if you’ve done everything exactly. One thing many of us forget to do is create crop marks in our Illustrator documents first.
