    Hi,
I try to draw an image where light comes out of a human eye. The light rays shall look like a funnel, start in a point and end wide. The light object shall be displayed in spectral colors.
If I use this coloring function in illustrator, apply it to a sqaure, it looks ok. When I now squeeze one end to a point, the color-spectrum rays do not follow. They remain horizontally.

    How con I realize this?

    regards, Giorgio

You need to expand your gradient rectangle, which will make this into many rectangles, one for each gradient step.
