    Hey guys

i have to create some Icons for a control electronic.

Now i’ve a red color value… i got it from the software developer who needs the icons and it must be exactly that value, because the display of the control electronic shows a raster, if its not the correct value.

now my problem is, that illustrator changes the color value by itself after i set the color

    i need #ad0039….
if i enter that value und check it again its #ac0d3a
its not a visible change… but its the the correct value 🙁

    what is it?
why is the illustrator doing that?
    how can i remove it?

i never had it before and i didnt find an answer in google.

thanks very much & best regards from munich

Do you have your file set to CMYK or RGB? If it’s set to CMYK, it will adjust RGB values to fit into the CMYK gamut.

    Save early. Save often.
