  Illustrator CC 2017 – Multiply Transparency Issue

  In Adobe Illustrator CC 2017, I will draw a shape with color, then put the transparency on multiply. Instead of making it have the regular multiply effect, it turns the shape completely black. I know this is not supposed to happen and this is the only time I have run into this.

  I have tried reinstalling, ect and no luck. Please help and thank you.
