    Hi there,

Hopefully someone can help me with this. I’m attempting to make a spiral of dots that begin small (in the centre of the spiral) and gradually become larger toward the outer edge.

    simliar to this

    or this

So far I’ve tried many variations of the blend tool, but using the method of blending a small circel to a large one, I cannot overcome the problem of the larger circles beginning to overlap as they reach the outer edge.

    simliar to this

Can anyone suggest a solution other than manually adjusting the space between the dots? I feel like I’m missing something easy here…

There might be an Illustrator script out there somewhere that can do that.
But, here’s a file that will show you the procedures that you could use to do that manually. You’d have to add some steps, overlay the operation on top of itself to get all of the colors, but this’ll get you started…

Sorry, I guess I totally didn’t answer your question before.
    Maybe this’ll do it…
