Yesterday I updated to 9.02. Since then, my some color setting has been all out of whack. I know very little about the settings and advanced controls in Illustrator yet, so I’m completely lost as to how to get the settings back the way they were.

Basically what’s happening is that the color looks great in Illustrator. When I save as a .pdf file, everything is a hell of a lot lighter in color than it should be. Almost as if it were washed out or had the gamma bumped up a few notches.

It prints the same way. The ad relies heavily on dark blues and greys, and what’s coming out of the printer/.pdf file is an almost teal shade of lighter blue. The greys also have hues of cyan/teal to them.

Everything I’ve imported from Photoshop is in CMYK. The Illustrator file I’m working with is in CMYK, but I know i’m missing something.
